“Think about us, this is the message to you, just think about us.”

Thousands of people are still waiting in Northern Greece painfully aware that the European border will not open. Over 1200 people are stuck in the Eko gas station camp with limited food, almost no access to medical services and a cloud of uncertainty over their prospects. Its sinking in that due to EU policy the borders will not be opening any time soon and in response refugees have started protests all around Greece. Their aim is to disrupt the flow of goods to Europe which have more freedom of movement than they do. Many trucks were turned back this day however cars were allowed to pass as the people on the road do not want to make problems for Greek people.
